Can we do better than we did?

Even though the COVID pandemic continues, it is a good time to ask if as a life sciences and healthcare community we could have done better. The Innovative Medicines Initiative (IMI) project DRAGON is planning a future scenarios exercise.

This will begin with a future pandemic scenario detailing how different stakeholders would respond to a new pandemic.

What would they do different the next time?

This will be an online response exercise that will highlight the ideas and innovations different stakeholders have been working on in response to the current pandemic.

The plan is to follow up with a workshop where teams will detail future scenarios of how the community would respond to the next pandemic and what the different scenarios will mean. This scenario planning exercise is part of the effort BioSci Consulting is leading to co-develop a sustainability plan for the DRAGON collaboration and outputs.
